The improved Philippine women’s national volleyball team is the league’s best setter, led by team captain Giada Gädeguzman along with spyker Angel Canino on the other side of the best.
The team, grouped in Pool B, will raise global rankings at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum and appear to build on last year’s groundbreaking bronze finish (first AVC medal in 63 years).
The coach Jorge de Burritot team is set for a busy pool stage where matches are scheduled for Mongolia, New Zealand, Iran and last year’s runner-up Kazakhstan.
