As Gateway’s commentator recently reported, after the election, the DNC fired a number of staffers without advance warning or any severance pay. Their union was furious.
It’s even more surprising given the fact that these staffers were ultimately not taken care of, even though the Harris campaign had over $1 billion in funding.
Now all they have to do is beg people to donate through a GoFundMe account set up for them.

DNC staff in despair after being hung to dry by Kamala
Kamala Harris burned through nearly $2 billion in campaign funds before losing to President-elect Donald Trump on Nov. 5, and now her Democratic National Committee staff is hanging out to dry.
A new GoFundMe page has been set up to help staff after an election that was a disaster not only for the campaign but also for the DNC.
“Last week, two-thirds of the DNC staff were fired with little notice or severance pay. We are heartbroken to see him leave and furious at the DNC leadership for not providing severance packages to those affected. We are creating a relief fund to directly support staff who have been affected by the layoffs, including single parents and expectant mothers. We hope these funds will help ease the economic blow for those affected,” the page reads in a statement.
These people were completely betrayed by the Party.
One day’s notice will not result in dismissal. The DNC fights for workers, not themselves.

They needed $1 billion, but they didn’t even pay their staff. America should be relieved that these people are no longer in charge of the country. People who do this to their own employees should not be trusted.
