Revision of the genus Micaria Westling from China in 1851 (araneae: gnaphosidae)

Abstract

The genus Micaria Westling was revised from China in 1851. Nine new species are listed: M. Ciri sp. November. (male and ♀), M. Everestsp. November. (male and ♀), M. Ganzisp. November. (male), M. Geraltsp. November. (male and ♀), M. xinglongisp. November. (male and ♀), M. xizangsp. November. (male and ♀), M. Yasp. November. (male and ♀), M. Yeti sp. November. (male and ♀) and M. Yunshani sp. November. (male and female). Three specific names have been newly synonymized: M. Alxa Tang, Urita, Song & Zhao, 1997 Syn. November. and M. Yushuensis Hu, 2001 Syn. November. 1875, M. Rossica Thorell, and M. Loginovi Zhang, Song & Zhu, 2001 Syn. November. With M. Fulgens (Walckenaer, 1802). Five species are newly recorded in China: M. Longimana Suzuki, 2022, M. Nivosa L. Koch, 1866, M. Micans (Blackwall, 1858), M. Pallipes (Lucas, 1846) and M. Tripunctata L. Koch, 1866. M. Bonneti Schenkel man, 1963. Twenty-eight species are assigned to five groups, with 26 species being shown.
