Pakistani forces launched multiple attacks using drones and other ammunition along the entire western border between May 8th and 9th.

Pakistani forces also relied on “many ceasefire violations” along Jammu and Kashmir’s control lines, Indian forces said in an early morning post on X.

He also shared small video clips with the post, claiming that all malicious designs would be responded with force.

“Operation Sindore – Pakistani forces launched multiple attacks using drones and other munitions along the entire western border on the night of intervention on May 8 and 09, 2025. The Pack forces relied on numerous ceasefire violations along Jammu and Kashmir’s control lines,” the Post said.

The drone attack was “effectively repelled” and a “appropriate response” was given to the ceasefire violation, the Indian army said.

“#indianArmy continues to work to protect the sovereignty of the state and territorial integrity. All malicious designs respond with force,” he added.

In retaliation for the Pahargam terrorist attack on April 22, an accurate missile strike was followed by an Indian army early on Wednesday under Operation Sindoah, in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) and Pakistan.

The Ministry of Defense on Thursday reiterated that attacks on Indian military sites would invite “appropriate response.”

In a late-night statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Defense said, “The military departments of Jammu, Patangkot and Udhanpur have been targeted by Pakistani Origin #drones and missiles along the border of J&K today.”

“The threat was quickly neutralised using athletic ability and non-kinic functions in line with established standard operating procedures (SOP). No casualties or material losses were reported. India is ready to defend its sovereignty and ensure the safety of its people.”
