Harriet Haageman, a conservative Republican lawmaker in Wyoming, is introducing new laws aimed at maintaining student visas from so-called sanctuary cities.
Hageman defeated former MP Liz Cheney, who could be the biggest upgrade in Wyoming history two years ago.
The bill is greeted with hostility by Democrats who reveal they care more about illegals than American citizens, but all Republicans in Congress should accept it.
Breitbart News Report:
Exclusive – Rep. Hageman introduces “Sanctuary Cities Act No Student Visa”
The new bill aimed at holding sanctuary cities “accountability” was introduced by Rep. Harriet Hayjan (R-WY), and Breitbart News has pledged to exclusive access to the proposed law and to President Donald Trump’s letter to help him stop the Democrats’ hosts from the Attorney General.
The “no student visa for sanctuary cities” introduced Wednesday will prohibit student visas being granted to institutions in such jurisdictions from being permitted by amending the Immigration and Nationality Act, Hageman’s office told Breitbert News.
“With no supporters of the open boundary left, or borders, we have infiltrated many of our states, cities and counties, and the so-called leaders have completely undermined the rule of law,” the lawmaker explained. “Instead of protecting citizens, sanctuary city officials have chosen them illegally here – many of them have made members of international cartels and other transnational criminal organizations more of their members than their members.”
“The student visa ban is a measure of accountability that puts pressure on justice to act to ensure that American Congressional representatives take action to comply with rules that follow established rules,” Hageman, who represented a large Congressional district in Wyoming after beating former Congressman Liz Cheney in the 2022 Republican primary.
The Trump administration has already revoked thousands of student visas, and more has come. Hageman is tackling the issue from the other side by suggesting that fewer student visas should be issued, especially for schools in cities that ignore immigration laws.
