Salvador Perez went 2-2 with 2-2 and three RBIs, Jonathan India got 2-2 with 2 RBIs and 3 runs, while Maikel Garcia got 2-2 with 2-run triples. Kansas City tied 17 hits with season-high hits, extending their winning streak to six games.
Bubic (4-2) walked one to attack the 7, lowering the ERA to 1.69. He helped himself by guiding three end-inning double plays.
Davis Martin (1-4) allowed four runs with seven hits in Chicago’s 4 1/3 innings.

Thailand France, which posted three of the five twin hits, has a pair of RBI singles, with Trevor Larnach poking a solo homer. Starter Bailey Over allowed two runs (one win) during his five stints. Griffin Jacks (1-2) hit two players with a scoreless 8, while Joan Duran pitched a scoreless 9 on his sixth save.
Emmanuel Rivera scored three hits for the Orioles. Yennier Cano (0-2) allowed two runs while getting only one in the eighth. Baltimore starter Dean Kremer gave up two runs in seven innings.
Tigers 10, Rockies 2 (Game 1)
Casey Mize pitched six strong innings, and Detroit scored five runs while batting in two innings to knock off Colorado in Game 1 of Denver’s doubleheader.
Mize (6-1) gave up on one run and three hits, but gave up on eight hits. After allowing a leadoff single on the first single, he set up the next 13 Rockies. Spencer Torkelson (three RBIs), Justin Henry Malloy, Andy Ibanez, Javier Bez, Graber Torres and Trey Sweeney each produced two hits.
Rockies starter Kyle Freeland (0-5) surrendered nine runs (5) and 11 hits before leaving after three innings. Mickey Moniac’s double was the only extra-bass hit of Colorado’s four safety.
Tigers 11, Rocky 1 (Game 2)
Gleyber Torres ripped a double that closed the base to highlight three innings of six runs, while Colt Keith added a 450-foot homer as Detroit blew a breeze into Denver’s Colorado doubleheader sweep.
Kaider Montero (1-1), the 27th man of the Tigers in the double-header, fired eight innings and gave up one run and five hits. Spencer Torkelson had three hits, while Kelly Carpenter and Trey Sweeney added two hits each. Brewer Hicklin, a 29-year-old rookie who appeared in his 10th major league match, produced his first two hits as Detroit rapped a 7-3 road trip.
Tanner Gordon (0-1) the Rockies’ 27th man surrendered 7 runs and 10 hits in 6 1/3 innings on the first outing of the season. Mickey Moniac carved two of Colorado’s five singles as the Rockies lost sixth in a row, dropping the Big League Western record 6-31.
Red Sox 5, Rangers 0
Brayan Bello and three relievers combined to shut out five hits, with Rafael Devers 2-3 on home runs, bringing together their first consecutive wins in May with Boston visiting Texas.
Bello allowed five walks in four hits and five 2/3 innings before giving way to Justin Slaten (1-3). Garrett Whitlock handled the seventh time before Liam Hendrix closed without allowing a hit. Ceddanne Rafaela added two hits to Red Sox.
Rangers starter Jack Lighter (2-2) allowed three hits, four walks and four runs in a 5 1/3 inning stint. Tucker Barnhart went 3-for-3 as Texas settled down to five singles. Wyatt Langford stole two bases, but the Ranger left 10 at the base.
