The Denver Broncos lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime on the road last weekend, ending the Miami Dolphins’ postseason hopes and missing out on a chance to earn their first postseason trip in eight years. Thanks to this result and their Week 17 win over the Cleveland Browns, the Dolphins are still aiming for a postseason berth.
In Week 18, the Dolphins will face the 4-12 New York Jets, who are currently No. 7 in the 2025 NFL Draft. If Miami wins and the Broncos lose at home to the Kansas City Chiefs, they will qualify for the playoffs for the third straight year.
Miami’s injury report for the crucial Week 18 game is below.

Miami Dolphins Week 18 Injury Report
The Miami Dolphins’ injury situation remains dominated by QB Tua Tagovailoa’s hip issue, but three players missed practice entirely due to injury on Wednesday.
Additionally, offensive tackle Kendall Lamb was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Lamb was placed on injured reserve, considering he missed Week 15’s game against the Houston Texans with a back injury, then appeared in Week 16’s game against the San Francisco 49ers and Sunday’s game against Cleveland. It’s unknown.
Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. (knee), safety Jordan Poyer (knee/finger) and offensive tackle Terron Armstead (knee) also missed Miami’s practice on Wednesday. Defensive tackle Calais Campbell (rest) also had a DNP, but is not injured.
Walker has yet to return to practice after missing last week’s win over the Cleveland Browns. As for Armstead, he went down with a knee injury in the first half of last weekend’s game and never returned.
Four other key Dolphins players were also listed as limited participants for Wednesday’s practice: safety Jevon Holland (wrist), punter Jake Bailey (back), and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle ( (knee), wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist/rest), and Tagovailoa (hip).
Tagovailoa is suffering from a hip injury sustained in Week 15 against the Houston Texans. He was able to play through the injury in Week 16 against the 49ers, but missed last week’s game against the Browns.
Coach Mike McDaniel announced Wednesday that the team will prepare backup quarterback Tyler Huntley as QB1 in Week 18. He also said the team would have time to get Tagovailoa back this week if he makes a full recovery.
Linebacker Duke Riley participated fully in Wednesday’s practice despite having a foot issue listed on the injury report.
