The holiday season is on the horizon, and the latest news from the Theme Parks sphere brings out a fun festival just as it enters the sizzle of things. Universal Studios Hollywood has a Mega Movie Summer evil Characters meet and greet them outside the Fanfest night. Epic Universe is preparing to open doors for guests this month in Orlando.
Disneyland is scheduled to begin 70th anniversary celebrations at Disneyland Resort next week. Meanwhile, at Walt Disney World, new shows and Pirates’ sheds are waiting for them at a new show and Pirates’ sheds. The new themed destination comes from DC Comics taking part in a family experience at Gay Road Hotel. MeowWolfDallas has been named “The Best Location-Based Experience” by the International Association of International Recreational Parks and Attractions.

Universal Studios Hollywood – Mega Movie Summer
Celebrating a huge hit by exploding films that made a fandom, including Steven Spielberg jaw– I’ll be 50 this year – and Return to the future. Iconic hanging jaw Shark Photo-op returns with Meet and Greet Chareserly, playing Quint and Brody.
Not only will you be able to meet Doc and Marty, but you’ll also be there with Einstein The Time-Traveling Dog. Includes additional new competitions and greetings evilElfaba and Glinda, just in time for the new Dino baby Jurassic World Revivaland no teeth How to Train a Dragon. Mega Movie Summer will be held from Friday, June 13th to Sunday, August 10th.

Mega Movie Summer is available with the themed film “Foods.” Here’s a list of what has been announced so far and where to find it:
- Hollywood & Dine – Located just inside the main theme park entry, it transforms into “Amity Island Cafe” and offers a great white menu. Menu and drink highlights include lobster rolls, vegan crab cake sandwiches, fish and chips, fish and chicken baskets, shark bait burger, shark fin funnel cake, Amity Island Parfait, Amity Beach Lifesaver Donut, shark chewing cocktails and Amity Open Water.
- Jurassic Cafe – The low lot offers a new prehistoric delicacy.
- Isla Nubar – Find new cocktails from Jurassic Water Regeneration and Spicy Jurassic Piarades.
- Mel’s Diner – Capture the pastoral essence Return to the future, It offers menu options such as Flux Condenser Patty Melt, Time Machine Pastrami Melt, Dock Brown Chicken Pot Pie, Out Time Cookies, Time Traveler Milk Shake, Flux Condenser Mock Tail, Wake Up Juice Cocktail and more.

Meow Wolf “The Real Unreal” – Grapevine, Texas
The front post base at Grapevine in Mirf, Texas, has been named “the best location-based experience” by the International Association of International Amusement Parks and Attractions. This honor includes competition with major studio-led parks, a victory in immersive, whimsical messes from the Meow Wolf brand. For more information, please see here.
DC Comic Takeover at Gaylord Hotels
Memorial Day weekend at Gaylord Resorts nationwide marks the start of the brand’s foray into participatory entertainment in collaboration with DC. Warner Bros.’s official partnership includes an immersive experience for those staying at select vacation resorts. A special walk-through exhibit will be featured at Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas. The exhibit offers an interactive walkthrough that boasts “multiple DC worlds and 40 iconic DC superheroes and supervilans” of over 1,000 sparkling lanterns built by Master Artisan from China.
More activations for the rest of the Gaylord hotels participating in DC Summer are:
- DC Superhero Mission Checklist: Start your adventure by checking in with a superhero badge and a checklist of challenges to complete across the resort. Guests can celebrate heroic feats with a superhero certificate upon check-out.
- Ridgeler Scavenger Hunt Revenge: Working with the Justice League, we will solve the tricky Riddler puzzles that are scattered throughout the resort.
- DC Superhero Craft Zone: Shape your superhero by embracing creativity at this fun art and craft station. All superheroes should help shape the story of their origins.
- Justice Character Dining: Guests can burn their inner strength in the Justice League dining hall. Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman join guests in this unique dining experience packed with epics and gems of courage and truth.
- Character Dining with Joker and Harley Quinn: Step into the twisted world of Gotham City. There, every turn awaits danger and excitement. Guests are faced with choices while tasting a hero-worthy meal. Help Batman bring Supervilles to justice and help Harley Quinn and Joker’s secret plan.

- DC Superhero Academy Live Show: Listen to legendary stories directly from the comic book! But this isn’t just story time, it’s a chance for guests to jump into the action and bending the superpower. Solve puzzles, test heroic instincts, and create personal adventures. Stay in Sharp – The hero may appear as a surprise.
- DC Superhero Sighting: Members of the Justice League are on a mission to stop Riddler’s latest Nefarias plot here and need support. Take photos, lend a hand and become part of the hero.
- DC Superhero Splash: Dive into an unforgettable poolside celebration packed with superhero games, DC Trivia, epic water slides and DJ span beats. It is the ultimate splash bash for heroes of all ages.
- DC Movie Night Poolside: The pool offers guests front row seating to watch DC superheroes on the big screen. Showing themed snacks and fellow fans, this outdoor movie night is a personal superhero escape and puts everyone in the middle of the action.
- DC fun in the pool: Soak the fun and relax in the water with fun facts, hero spotlights, cocktails inspired by specialist superheroes, and refreshing ice drinks like Amazon’s Freeze and Metropolis.

Disneyland Resort – Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary
The Jonas Brothers will debut a new single to celebrate 70 years of Disneyland with their official album that soundtracks theme park milestones. Fans can hear “Celebrating Happy” during the Cavalcade of new park characters, along with new renditions of Disney favourites and new original tracks starting May 16th at Disney Resort. Disney villain and mermaid experience – Walt Disney World
Two new shows to beat the heat in Orlando summer will premiere on May 27th. There’s a modification The Little Mermaid – Music Adventures and Villain: Unjustly after At Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Coming soon: Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge – Walt Disney World
With beaks and barrels, we hope there is no shortage of rum for Disney adults. Details of the concept art for the Lounge Coming to Magic Kingdom have been released and look completely pirated.
