Zach Weeks is following in his brother’s footsteps.
Weeks, one of the nation’s top linebackers from the Peach State, promised: LSUboth of his older brothers play for Tigers defensive coordinator Blake Baker. Weeks, the No. 8 ranked LB on Rivals250, will also be reclassified into the current 2025 class.
Weeks will sign with the Tigers in nine days during the early signing period.
Baker will be coaching Weeks for the third time, and he has traveled to Baton Rouge frequently this offseason and during the season to watch the Friars’ games and grow closer to the entire LSU football program.
“It’s always good to be around Coach Baker. I had a chance to talk to him a lot,” Weeks said. rival. “I probably have the best relationship with Coach Baker. He’s a great guy and I really like how he connects with me and other people outside of football. “He brings energy and that’s what I really want in football.” ”
Weeks last visited campus this weekend, also his second visit in November.
“Everything went really well,” Weeks told Rivals. “The atmosphere was insane as always…we were packed for warm-ups an hour before the game. It’s always great to see the brothers and catch up.”
