Very unfortunately for Jenelle Evans and her eldest son, what’s old is new again.
Last weekend, the former Teen Mom contestant reportedly called 911 after getting into a huge fight with her 15-year-old son, Jace.
According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Jace ran away from home on Saturday night, but returned a few hours later.
(As many readers probably know by this point, Jace has abandoned home multiple times in the last year.)
According to the website, the mother and son had a “bad fight” on Sunday morning, and Evans told a 911 operator that Jace “broke his door, my door, and the closet door.” He said he spoke with him.
“Right now, everything in my house is broken, and it’s been going on for a long time, and the police said yesterday that they can’t help me.” [when Jace ran away the first time]” Jenelle said tearfully in the recording of the call.
Later in the call, Jenelle says she thinks Jace is smoking marijuana, and that Jace is “drinking behind my back,” in addition to Jenelle confiscating a pocket knife and her teenager. It added that the suspected drug use of the police had contributed to the unrest the day before.
Jace supposedly acted this way in front of Jenelle’s daughter Ensley and son Kaiser, the latter of whom Evans had recently brought back from Tennessee after trying to hand her over to his grandmother.
In an incident report later filed with police on Sunday (obtained by our friends at The Ashley), Jenelle told police that Jace yelled, “Fuck you!” He punched her in the face and began smashing the kitchen cabinets.
While we’re not sure what the current situation is, “Jace has since been taken from Jenelle’s home and hasn’t returned since last weekend,” The Ashley wrote, adding, “We can confirm that Jace is safe, but we cannot be sure. It’s not like we’re going to go back to “.” For the time being, we plan to move back to Jenelle’s house. ”
It’s just crazy and it’s really bad. Also.
Jenelle’s mother, Barbara, raised Jace until March 2023, at which point she signed a deal to hand over custody to Evans. At the time, Evans was living in North Carolina with her now estranged husband, David Eason.
However, Jace later escaped on two separate occasions.
He also accused Eason of assault.
After this incident, Jace was placed in the custody of Child Protective Services, but stayed with Barbara for a short time and was also in a number of institutions as well.
It wasn’t until February of this year that Jenelle regained custody of Jace. Soon after, she broke up with Eason and moved to Las Vegas with their children.
Jenelle has yet to publicly comment on the 911 call or the argument with her son.
We often make fun of MTV personalities and may continue to do so. But the bottom line is:
Evans is clearly in trouble, and so is Jace, and we wish him all the best.
