With a new blog entry on behalf of her business, Taeda Farms, Janelle gushes out the differences in life these days.
“For the first time, I can create a home that feels like I am,” Janelle wrote online this week. “When you’re part of a large family, decisions aren’t just what you want.”

“The large family gatherings were constantly factored because everything had to go through some kind of committee decision,” Janelle continued through this blog.
“There were other voices to consider, other voices to meet, and resources to share. Of course, Kodi had his opinion, but beyond that, everything had to fit into the broader dynamics of the family. Compromise was just part of the deal.”
Janelle continues to compare her previous experiences with ongoing experiences, telling her that “it’s completely different.” Because she can make all the choices for her new home and no longer have to “justify” her choices to fit someone else’s vision.

“I can build a space that accurately reflects what I want, how I live, and what I feel like I’m at home. And tell me – it’s exhilarating and a little overwhelming.”
Of course, Brown has lived with all his parents’ worst nightmares for months after his son Garrison took his life in March 2024.
This tragedy helped Janelle get her to move.
“For the first time, I can understand that without worrying about other people’s opinions,” Janelle told his followers a few days ago.
“And I can’t wait to see this house take shape. Bricks by bricks, choices by choice, they’re totally mine.”
