If you’ve received a message directly on Instagram in a language you don’t speak very well, copy the text, open your browser, and translate.google.com Then you just need to translate the message and then go back to the original app and respond. However, the Instagram feature released in February allows users to translate messages correctly via DM. This is very easy.
“It’s now easier to maintain connections with friends and family around the world. Instagram’s new message translation feature allows you to communicate easily around the world without worrying about language barriers.” Instagram wrote in a press release about this feature. “Whether you’re catching up with your Korean cousin or your BFF overseas in Spain, you can translate your message directly within the DMS and stay close to your loved ones even when you’re far away.”
