Abstract
The 1889 Paratropididaesimon is composed of 26 small to medium sized (6.0-18.5 mm) Migalomorph spiders, distributed in four genera. Here, three new species of Paratropis are described: Paratropis celiae sp. November. and Paratropis Manauara sp. November from Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. and Paratropis vulcanix sp. November. From Deparima Calda Nevado del Lewis, Colombia. An updated geographic distribution map for the entire genera is presented and discussion of family taxonomic issues is provided.
