Beets are one of my favorite vegetables. I use beetroot powder with my homemade blush, add it to my salad and use them to make strawberry beet fruit leather with a great taste. Beetroot gummies are a fun way to get the benefits of beats in the form of gummies.
My kids love chewable vitamins and the beet gummies are also very nutrient-rich. They are sophisticated, sugar-free, gluten-free ways to get extra nutrition in their diet. Additionally, they are benefiting people who need sports and increased brain and energy. This humble root vegetable has plenty of offerings!
Ready-made Beetroot Extracts are available on store shelves, but you can easily make your own. Many of these beatchees also add ingredients to them that you want to avoid.
So what’s so great about the beat?
Beat Health Benefits
The beet is red thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant betalain. Yellow beets also have these benefits, but they come from betaxanthin. They not only help protect against oxidative damage, but also reduce overall inflammation. A 2014 survey found that people who took the beet root extract supplement reported 27% less pain than the placebo group. Also, the energy levels were significantly higher!
You can also find plenty of nitrates in beets. These nitrates turn into nitric oxide when we eat them and increase blood flow. Research has confirmed that nitric oxide production is beneficial not only in blood circulation, but also in general heart health. Beats are known to provide support for spontaneous blood pressure by normalizing blood pressure. Beats further support cardiovascular health by helping the heart cells and cells that line our blood and lymphatic vessels work better.
A meta-analysis found that nitric oxide supplements can help improve performance in non-athletes in endurance-based exercise tests. Nitrate-rich beets show the same benefits when it comes to body performance. Not only can the beat give you a physical boost, they also provide energy boost to your brain.
Beets contain vitamin C, vitamin B, iron, manganese, potassium, copper, zinc and magnesium. You can read more about why Beat is amazing here.
Health benefits of pomegranate
Pomegranates are another dietary superfood rich in antioxidants and nutrients. They have been widely explored for the benefit of anti-cancer and blood pressure. Other studies have shown that pomegranate juice can help strengthen exercise and recovery. We may not all be professional athletes, but in my book, anything that improves our ability to move and recover.
Pomegranates have 50% of the daily value of potassium, zinc, magnesium, and copper. You can also find high levels of vitamins C, K, E and B vitamins.
And then of course there is gelatin that will help you put it all together in this recipe. Gelatin has many of its own impressive health benefits that we cover here.
How to make beet gummies
This process is very similar to other gummy recipes. However, instead of using beet juice, I blend the entire beet root. Juice beets are a messy process and not everyone has a juicer. It’s also not common to find a bottle of beet juice in the juice section of a grocery store.
Cut the beets into chunks and mix with the pomegranate juice. Make sure the blender lid is firm as this mixture is dirty! Mix the gelatin and pour it into your favorite mold and you’ll find a delicious beet gummy.

Beat gami that offers size and storage
These are not concentrated beet root extracts (e.g., ready-made supplements). Also, no added sugar or synthetic vitamins! Therefore, although they offer many health benefits, you can enjoy a larger meal size. These also go well in the fridge for about a week.
