Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Ltd, reaching Defense PSU Gardens, recorded an after-tax profit (PAT) of Rs 527 crores in 2024-25, with a growth of 48% over a net profit of Rs 357 crores in the previous fiscal year. The company saw a 39% increase in total revenue in 2025 compared to the previous fiscal year.
The total revenue of the Kolkata-based warship builder for 2024-25 was 5,411 crore against Rs 3,892 crore in 2023-24, GRSE officials said in a statement.
He said the earnings per share (EPS) for 2024-25 was Rs 46.04 against Rs 31.19 in 2023-24.
GRSE declared total dividends at a rate of 138.5% of its salary share capital, he said.
Commenting on the results, GRSE Chairman and Managing Director PR Hari (RETD) said, “We are confident in performing even better this fiscal year, with our strong order forms, the maturity of production for ongoing projects, and the visibility of orders, including the commercial shipbuilding segment.”
