Population Health Technology Companies Color Health announced the appointment of Dr. Rebecca Miksad as chief medical officer and Josh Sturm as chief revenue officer.
Miksad is a medical oncologist and director of the High-Risk Cancer Genetics Clinic at Boston University School of Medicine, and previously served as senior medical director for an oncology-focused digital health company. Flatiron Health.
She will oversee the medical and clinical aspects of Color, including the development of the Virtual Cancer Clinic.

Digital health startup for heart and lung disease Eko Health welcomes Brent D. Lang to its board of directors.
Lang is a former Olympic gold medalist and served as chairman and CEO of Vocera Communications, where he led Vocera’s growth, IPO and $3 billion acquisition by Stryker.

Healthcare technology company Medtronic has hired Dr. James Porter as chief medical officer for robotic surgical and digital technologies for its surgical business, part of the company’s medical surgery portfolio.
Porter is a urological surgeon specializing in prostate, kidney cancer and urological plastic surgery. According to the company, he is “a recognized leader in the global surgical community and one of the top five robotic surgeons in the United States.”
He also serves as Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at Providence Swedish Hospital in Seattle, Washington.
