dwyane wade‘s new statue isn’t just feeling the heat from internet trolls…at least one former NBA star is clowning it as well — chris webber tell TMZ Sports He thinks this monument resembles Morpheus.
We met C. Webb at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday. When I asked him about Wade’s sculpture, which had just been erected at Miami’s Caseya Center on Sunday, he couldn’t help but burn it.
he told us he thought it was more like Laurence FishburneCharacters from “The Matrix”…or chris rockPookie from “New Jack City”.
“You sound like the lead singer of.”five heartbeats“I was singing,” Webber added with a laugh.
But Webber made it clear he’s not overshadowing Wade at all…in fact, he said Dwayne is the No. 3 two-guard of all time — right next. michael jordan and kobe bryant.
Still, he certainly meant to tease the new film — and he praised Wade for being able to do something like this. just a little bit the same.
He thinks all of this could have been avoided, but he believes that statue makers should spend more time with their subjects in their personal lives and not just create work from photographs. Instead, he suggested.
If Marquette University students are considering their future Wade…take notes.
