The left is melting again. And this time it goes beyond Tinfoil hat-level conspiracy theory in that President Donald Trump is preparing to declare martial law on April 20th.
The same people who spent years chuckling “canon” are pushing authentic stuff Blue Anon A unique fantasy.
Is this source of hysteria? None other than James Kerrville, an aging Democratic strategist who is clearly striving to remain relevant.
In a recent episode of the Political War Room, Kerrville was asked if Trump was trying to provoke enough anxiety to declare martial law and suspend the 2026 election.
“You’re so right to worry about this…it’s getting worse by that day. It’s not going to stop getting worse, and I should be a high, high warning.”
The panic on the left comes from intentional misreading Trump’s January 20th Presidential Orderdeclared a national emergency at the southern border and directed the Department of Defense and Homeland Security to submit a report by April 20th.
The report assesses the border crisis created by longtime Democratic public policies and recommends whether to call the 1807 Rebellion Act for enforcement. While it doesn’t mention “martial law” anywhere, it doesn’t stop the Blue Anon crowd from spinning dystopian fantasies.
EO is partially read:
“Within 90 days from the date of this declaration, the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security shall submit a joint report to the President on the terms of the US tropical border on recommendations regarding additional litigation necessary to obtain full operational control of the tropical border, including whether to invoke the Rebellion Act of 1807.”
になったんです。 English: The first thing you can do is to find the best one to do.The Rebellion Act of 1807 is not martial law. They are clear US legal concepts, each with a different meaning in the use of military force and the role of civilian governments.
Rebellion Law It is a federal law that grants presidential authorities to deploy domestic troops under certain circumstances. This generally serves as an exception to the Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibits federal forces from engaging in civilian law enforcement.
Martial law refers to the temporary change in civilian governments and legal procedures and military powers.
After Trump interviewed NBC News on March 30, the massive delusion on the left began to gain traction.
Around NBC:
“I want a lot of people to do that,” Trump said in a Sunday morning phone call, referring to his allies on NBC News. “But I basically tell them we have a long way to go, that’s very early in the administration.”
“I’m not kidding,” Trump said. “But I’m not – it’s too early to think about it.”
When asked if he was offered a plan to allow him to seek a third term, Trump said, “There’s a way you can do that.”
Normill surged into overdrive after an anonymous sackak writer, posting under the name “Aletheistenes.” Article has been published It is entitled “Part 1: On April 20, 2025, the United States may surpass points without a revival.”
In the post, Aletheistenes wrote:
Sounds wild. Maybe I’m crazy. But all the steps are already moving. I’m glad I’m wrong. But if this is correct… you’re ready.
On April 20, 2025, the United States may begin its final step into authoritarian rules. That’s the day Donald Trump’s advisory committee will release the findings on whether he should invoke the Rebellion Act. He is a move that will allow Trump to deploy military forces domestically and to impose martial law. (San Francisco Chronicle). Given that Hegseth and Noem are the main “advisors,” the conclusion is obvious.
And as already shown, he cannot stop at mere legal opinion.
Even on the same day or the next day, it is anticipating executive orders, officially declared rebellion laws, restoring border control, perhaps limiting freedom in cities in blue states, and driving bigger plans.
Even the Snope on the far left fact-checking site was forced to admit that the rumors are not material
They noted desperate emails from readers citing social media posts around April 20th, leading to an executive order in a conspiracy of martial law. Snow The orders made it clear that it was about border security, not tanks rolling on the streets.
One reader “sees a lot of posts on Facebook that Trump declares martial law on April 20th.” Another refers to an executive order issued on January 20th, the first day of Trump’s second term, and says, “I saw various posts suggesting that the early executive order signed by the president sets the stage for imposition of martial law, and that this will be caused by a report on border status, which will be released on April 20th.”
The January 20th executive order declared a national emergency at the borders of the southern United States. Part of the order said the defense and homeland security secretaries would issue a joint report “within 90 days.” This makes sense by April 20th. He also said the report includes guidance on “whether to invoke the Rebellion Act of 1807.” The order did not explicitly mention the word “martial law.”
At the time of this writing on April 9th, the rumor existed as a prediction rather than a provable claim. Searches on the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, and the White House websites did not have any announcements, statements or proofable evidence that could help shed light on unproven issues.
But that has not stopped Democrats from spreading fear and delusions.
“As a veteran, if martial law is declared in the United States, it means the constitution is suspended. It means that there is no private government: freedom of speech, assembly, press.
