Biden’s latest cheat sheet
The scoop published by Axios was made possible by staff working at a fundraiser for President Biden’s reelection campaign.
“It is astonishing that a seasoned political professional such as the president would require detailed verbal and visual instructions on how to enter and exit a room,” they said, according to the outlet.
No one knows how surprised this person was. Biden’s aides have a long history of walking the president step-by-step through events.
More than two years ago, Biden accidentally revealed a cheat sheet he was using at the time during a meeting with wind industry leaders.
The president accidentally held up a card prepared by his staff to explain the procedure for the event.
Some of the instructions were comedy gold:
- “You please take a seat.”
- “You will make a short comment (2 minutes)”
- “You appreciate the participation.”
- “You’re leaving.”
At another event about a year later, video emerged that appeared to show a person giving President Biden a ceremonial tour during a road trip in North Carolina.

Is it just standard operating procedure?
Responding to Axios’ report, White House officials tried to dismiss the giant storybook being provided to the president as simply standard procedure.
“A high level of detail and precision is essential to any presidency effort, regardless of who the president is, and this is the foundational approach taken by modern presidency teams, including the Office of the Vice President and other government agencies,” White House spokesman Andrew Bates said.
A spokesman for Vice President Kamala Harris added that “these documents are standard logistics briefings and photos for all leaders, including the Vice President.”
