The Arunachal Pradesh government has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Delhi, to extend cashless treatment of up to Rs 500,000 to beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that under the memorandum, the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) will receive credit issued by the Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY) on the recommendation of the referral committee of the Naharlagun-based hospital. It said it would provide cashless treatment based on approval. Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS).
Located near the capital Itanagar, TRIHMS is Arunachal Pradesh’s first medical college and state hospital.

This credit facility has been extended to the people of Arunachal Pradesh at Central Government Health System (CHGS) rates as a special case.
The MoU was signed by Arunachal Pradesh Health and Family Welfare Department Secretary Krishna Kumar Singh and ILBS Medical Director Arun Kumar Rastogi.
“The memorandum of understanding demonstrates our commitment to providing the best possible health care to our people,” the prime minister said.
Under CMAAY, once a family enrolls in the scheme, the member can receive a health benefit of up to Rs 500,000 per year.
