Adani Power Ltd. announced on Saturday it had won a competitive bid to supply Uttar Pradesh with 1,500 megawatts of thermal power.
The company will deliver electricity from the newly planned 2×800 MW (1500 MW) supercritical power plant at an attractive rate of Rs 5.383 per unit from the newly planned 2×800 MW (1500 MW) supercritical power plant, according to the exchange on Saturday.
After the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet received approval for the project earlier this month, Adani Power will continue to sign a long-term power contract with Uttar Pradesh Power Corp. Ltd. based on the award letter received.
